Can you install a ceiling fan where there isn't an existing fan?
Yes. Laswell can install a ceiling fan in a location where one has not previously been installed. Depending on the room and existing electrical system, the installation may require new wiring, a fan-rated electrical box, and a wall switch or other control. Our electricians can evaluate the location and determine what is needed for a safe, reliable installation.
Can you replace an existing ceiling fan?
Yes. Laswell can remove an existing ceiling fan and install a new one in its place. During the replacement, we can also evaluate the existing electrical box, wiring, and connections to make sure they are appropriate for the new fan.
Do I need a special electrical box for a ceiling fan?
